We needed a food caterer for an important demo event for our clients, and we wanted something beyond the usual hot dogs and hamburgers typical of outdoor events. Big Bone BBQ was the perfect choice and truly elevated the lunch we offered—our guests were genuinely impressed. Excellent ribs and the party platters are great value. The pulled pork nachos are a guilty pleasure and make a great side to the party platters if you have people willing to share!

What a treat! I've eaten a lot of BBQ in my many trips to Texas over the years and Big Bone is simply the best BBQ I've had outside of Texas and I've tried every place in the region. Everything was simply delicious (with a special shout-out to those beans!!) Nice smokey flavour and great bite, delicious flavour, yummy!! My only very minor complaints are that you can't choose your own meats for the combo plates (I like to be able to pick my preferred meats in say a 2- or 3-meat platter) and I also really like having a bottle of BBQ sauce on the table (like they do in Texas) - but neither of those small issues affect the quality nor taste of the food. Well done guys, I'll definitely be back for more Big Bone!

The first thing you notice is how great this place smells. Service was friendly and the food, delicious. The meat on the ribs soft and succulent and all food served at the perfect temperature. My partner said his poutine was very tasty. Would come again when next in town and I recommend you try it out.

Authentic smoked Bbq, so authentic infact that its smokey in the restaurant from it. So in essence youre smoked while eating smoked meat. My kind of place. Food was great went with a group of 10 and everyone loved it. Fries were perfect. I will try the smoked wings next time.

Big Bone BBQ didn’t just feed me—they challenged my entire caloric intake strategy. I usually crush 4,000 calories a day like it’s a hobby, but after this feast, I think my stomach filed a noise complaint. The ribs were unreal, the chicken was divine, and the portion size? Let’s just say I left questioning my life choices... and also planning my return.

These guys know MEAT! A pit master, a seasoned grill and smokey oven. All the prime staples of a great BBQ cookout. When my friends from Texas come up to visit, I take them here. The smokey wings are unlike anything is else and the ribs are spot on. I ordered the Party Pack 2 which comes with wings, ribs and wack load of fries. The staff were super friendly as well.

I had heard of Big Bone and since I was out Ottawa way, I had to try them out. Really good bbq. The wings and pork ribs were wonderfully smoked, nicely seasoned and not over- sauced. I had to try the brisket as well, beautifully tender and smokey. Now I am not a fan of sauce on brisket, but the sauce they used is a perfect blend of sweet and vinegar. Cornbread was good as was Cole slaw, and I even enjoyed the beans Excellent bbq. Highly recommend.
